Our Team

Dr Jacinta Cordwell

I’m Dr Jacinta Cordwell, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with a specialist interest in child and family mental health.

I’ve worked extensively in paediatric, perinatal and neonatal settings, supporting families through some of the most challenging times in their lives. I’m passionate about bringing psychological thinking into healthcare, and I lead teams to develop services that are compassionate, effective, and grounded in evidence.

Alongside my clinical work, I provide supervision, contribute to research, and support training and policy development to improve emotional wellbeing for children and families across the system.

Dr Rebecca Duncombe

I am an experienced Consultant Paediatrician with specialist interests in High Dependency and Emergency Paediatric care. I aim to provide compassionate, expert holistic care for patients from neonates to adolescents. With extensive frontline experience across the NHS, I am committed to delivering safe, responsive care while championing systemic improvement.

Passionate about innovation, education, and patient-centred service redesign, I have completed further postgraduate education in Healthcare Innovation and have led previous digital health initiatives aimed at improving family experience. I am keen to work on demystifying paediatric care for children and their families, supporting informed decision-making, and creating a more accessible healthcare system where the patient is always at the centre of care.

Dr Ria Evans Fry

I am a Consultant Neonatologist with broad experience in medical, cardiac, and surgical neonatal intensive care, as well as neonatal land and air transport. My clinical practice is complemented by a personal perspective, having spent ten weeks on a neonatal unit when my youngest daughter was born prematurely.

This lived experience has strengthened my commitment to advancing family integrated and patient-centred models of care. I regularly contribute teaching on the family perspective of neonatal intensive care and place particular emphasis on supporting and empowering parents as advocates for their infants.

Alongside my clinical work, I have a strong interest in the development of innovative digital health solutions. Parenting my eldest daughter through her sister’s NICU admission inspired the concept of Nell, an app designed to support siblings of neonatal patients, reflecting my wider focus on holistic, family-centred approaches to neonatal care.
